About our Partners, Staff and Associates

We have a cadre of 25 consultants who partner with us, and we can pull in the skills that we need on an ad hoc basis, keeping your costs down and maintaining flexibility in what we can do and how quickly we can provide support for you. Our consultants have at least a bachelor’s degree and industry certification or master’s or doctorate degrees. They are part of their own consulting firms and work for us as independent contractors – they are available through us for both long- and short-term engagements. You contract through us, and we manage them for you and don’t add to your administrative burden. We have smooth transitions between engagements and, if needed, during engagements. Dr. Smith has over 35 years of work experience in a variety of industries and has been an HR consultant since 1989. She was a professor of human resource management and leadership development at Winston-Salem State University for 15 years; received the UNC Board of Governor’s Highest Teaching Award in 2010 and WSSU Distinguished Master Teacher’s Certificate in 2014. .

Dr. Smith is also:

  • A published author, researcher, and frustrated pianist and tap dancer
